On December 28, 2013, the Compuware 2001 Tier II team were finalists in the Compuware Holiday Classic Tournament.  The format included nine (9) of the top teams locally, throughout Michigan, and Illinois.  A special thank you goes out to the teams that participated in this year’s tournament which included: Blue Water Stars, Chicago Jets, Compuware, KV Rebels, Livingston Lightning, Livonia Knights, Macomb Mavericks, Rockford Rams, and Suburban Stars.

In the semi finals, Compuware and the Rockford Rams were tied 2-2 after regulation.  The game went into overtime where the game still remained tied.  A three player shoot-out followed with Compuware scoring one goal and completely “shutting out” the Rockford Rams for the victory 3-2.  During the finals, the Macomb Mavericks proved to be too strong on that day and defeated Compuware 4-1.
