Based on the success of the season kickoff event, MAHA's Tier 1 organizations returned to Troy, MI (Buffalo Wild Wings Arena) for a December edition of the 2022 MAHA Tier I Showcase.

The event highlighted the 14U through 18U Divisions from all of Michigan’s Tier I (AAA) organizations. Teams from each division competed in a three-game schedule over the course of the weekend, occupying all rinks at Buffalo Wild Wings Arena (formerly Troy Sports Center).

 “The MAHA Tier I Showcase is a highly competitive weekend of hockey,” explains Jason Reynolds, MAHA Director of Operations and Marketing. “There’s a great deal of pride taken in being able to highlight some of our top hockey talent in Michigan. We know there will be eyes on these games, whether in-rink or streaming online, and the early-season exposure may lead some of these elite players to opportunities in the future.”
